April 11th, 2015 Marked the 10th annual Uncle Gary's Rock and Rib Fest benefit for the Kids Cancer Foundation. I would like to personally thank all of those who attended  this year and in past years for all  your support. In growing this event and having hosted it the last three years at John Prince Park in Lake Worth  I realized that  there was still room to expand this event even further.  Uncle Gary's Rock and Rib Fest  brings awareness to the plight that so many local families whose children are enduring the day today challenges of being diagnosed with cancer. This year being my 10th year anniversary marked a turning point with a new venue, home to the Original Florida Oktoberfest,  The American German Club located at 5111 Lantana Road. in Lake Worth.  The Facility host's many great events each year many catering toward cancer related benefits. I am looking forward to holding the event at the club for many years to come.

Realizing the event was held at a much larger facility than years past, and we where up against another annual event I had expected a smaller turnout  but I was pleasantly surprised that the event was still a big success.  Because of the events purpose donations were made directly to the Kids Cancer Foundation.   I had great feedback from family and friends this year about the event, the Kid Zone was loaded with many activities for children, the food was fantastic, the bands where dynamite and the volunteers all worked hard.  It really was an amazing day for all the guests and while the goals set where not met the planning and preparatory mode is already underway for a bigger and better 2016. Check back with us to see the updated band and events list.
